The Ninja Master Prep Professional Blender & Food Processor – A Whole Different Blending Game!
Let me throw this out there:
Two of the top complaints that consumers seem to have about their food processors is:
- The Size
- The Price
Based on that, a lot of you won’t’ even consider names like Vitamix of Blendtec, which I totally get by the way.
But this is where things get interesting:
The Ninja Master Prep Professional Blender & Food Processor bridges the gap in the market by being:
- compact and
- affordable
Naturally I was more than a little curious about the Master Prep, so I took it around the block to see how it measured up to its marketing claims.

What’s in the Box?
Your brand spanking new Ninja Master Prep comes with 2 containers, the 16 ounce chopper bowl and the 48 ounce jug for making drinks. It also comes with 2 sets of blades, the 4-piece set and the 6-piece set.
An In-Depth Look
I really like the Ninja Master Prep Professional Blender & Food Processor, because as the name implies, you actually get 2 products for a laughably cheap price. It’s a smoothie maker and a mini food processor wrapped up into a stylish package.
What the Ninja Prep can make?
Well, I have to say that appearances are super deceiving, and it’s something that holds true with the Ninja Prep. For something so small, it packs one hell of a punch.
It’ll make up to 48 ounces of smoothie goodness, giving you more than the NutriBullet ever could. Other than that it’ll chop, mince, slice and dice; everything you need for prep and more.
It doesn’t quite get to the consistency you’d get from a high-end blender like the Vitamix, but then again this thing costs a fraction of the Vitamix, which totally explains the results.
What others are saying:
There seems to be A LOT of customer feedback on the web for the Ninja Prep, which means it is super popular, just go ahead and peek at the amazing star ratings it is getting on sites like Amazon and you’ll get the whole picture here!
The most loved aspect people seem to rave about is its compact size, it’s really small enough to fit inside cupboards for storage.
There were some folks mentioning the fact that the power button at the top is kind of a learning curve but no real train smash.
What most people had beef with was the super sharp blades that seem to love nicking fingers when you take them out for cleaning. I learned that the hard way too. Be careful friends, I’m not joking when I tell you that those blades are razor sharp!
The Price Tag
If you scoot on over to Amazon you’ll see that the 400-watt models are retailing for roughly $30 a pop, while the optional 450-watt models hover near the $45 price range. I don’t know about you but personally this seems too cheap to bring real value to the table. Luckily we’ve landed in some kind of magical pot of luck because the Ninja Master Prep is really that good, even at a very basic price!

Final Thoughts
I haven’t really come across something that brings the same price and footprint to the table like the Ninja Master Prep Professional Blender & Food Processor does. There’s a pretty good reason why it’s trending at the number one spot in the personal blender category on Amazon at the moment, and I’m not going to let this golden opportunity pass me by!
If you’re like me and you’re looking for a compact little machine that’ll process and blend foods while not breaking the bank, you simply can’t go wrong with the Ninja Master Prep!
Don’t expect consistency you’ll receive from a Blendtec, if that’s what you’re looking for then you’d be better of searching for it elsewhere, but if you’re not set on perfect consistency time after time, this is a no-brainer option!
That’s my 2 cents worth on the Ninja Master Prep, but I’ve still got one last thing on my mind, and that’s my thoughts on the KitchenAid 9-and-12 Cup Food Processor 5-Disc Set, so please check back in soon if you’re keen for a good read!
