ESEE-3, ESEE-4, ESEE-5, ESEE-6 Knife Review
Co-funded by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin in 1997, “Randall’s Adventure & Training” worked under contract with the Peruvian Air Force’s “Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva” (School of Jungle Survival), also known by the acronym ESSEL.
ESEE brand was created based on their vast experience and knowledge, as you can imagine the quality of their survival knives are superb. You can go wrong with one of these Esee knife series.
In case you are not familiar with their knife naming convention, the number reflects the blade size.
For example, ESSE-3 has the perfect size-to-weight ratio to make it an awesome wilderness survival blade. Some praise it as one of the greatest knife for hunting/skinning knife, self-defense knife, and camp chore knife.
Whereas ESSE-6 is a great wood prep and all-around camp duty knife.
Most of all, ESSE knives are made in the USA with meticulous attention to quality materials and care during the manufacturing process.
